About the Client
Our client is a long-established Australian civil, structural and mechanical engineering and construction contractor with more than 50 years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects. They work closely with government and industry partners across Queensland. They have a project based in Waterford West involving the construction of a 6-hectare park which will be one of the largest recreational parks in the City of Logan.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Concrete Labourer you will be required to work 6:30am-3:00pm (Monday - Friday) responsible for duties such as;
Assisting with the preparation and set-out of concrete slab areas
Installing and stripping formwork for concrete pours
Placing and tying reinforcing mesh and steel reinforcement
Assisting with concrete pours, including directing concrete trucks and pumps
Spreading, raking and levelling concrete during placement
Assisting concreters with screeding, edging and finishing activities
What You Will Need
White Card
Driver’s Licence & reliable transport
Physically fit as the work is labour intensive
Previous experience in the above duties
