MC Truck Driver

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable MC Truck Driver to join our interstate linehaul operations based out of Stawell, Victoria.

This role involves transporting brick loads from our depot to NSW, QLD and WA, with general freight returning to Victoria. You will operate a combination of B-Double and Road Train configurations, using both open and tautliner trailers depending on load requirements.

This is a hands-on role suited to a professional driver who takes pride in safety, compliance and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate MC vehicles across interstate routes safely and efficiently

• Comply with BFM fatigue management and 14-hour logbook requirements

• Load restraint in accordance with industry standards and regulations

• Complete all freight documentation and heavy vehicle paperwork accurately

• Conduct pre-start checks and maintain vehicle condition

• Communicate effectively with the operations and scheduling team

• Represent the business in a professional manner when dealing with customers

About You

• Minimum 3+ years' proven MC linehaul driving experience

• Current and valid MC driver's licence

• Demonstrated experience operating B-Double and Road Train combinations

• Experience with open and tautliner trailers

• Current BFM certificate

• Strong understanding of load restraint procedures

• Proven ability to complete freight and compliance documentation accurately

• Forklift licence (desirable)

• Clean driving record

• Clean driving record with no major offences within the past 5 years

• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach

• Ability to work autonomously and manage long-haul schedules

• Australian working rights required

• Will pass a drug and alcohol pre-screening and meet ongoing testing requirements in line with company policy
