Machine Operator – Metal Polisher

About the Opportunity

We have an opening for a Machine Operator – Metal Polisher to join our ever-growing team!

This a 38 hour a week full-time role, Monday to Friday at our Factory in Dandenong South, Victoria.

About you:

• Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical trade or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes in a related field.

• Demonstrated safety-first mindset.

• Experience using hand-polishing tools would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Your tasks will include:

• Operating manual machine lathes, lathe-mounted linishers, along with various hand polishers, tools, and equipment to correct and prepare surfaces for hard chrome plating or to meet finish specifications. 

• Polishing components to the specified requirements. 

• Interpreting engineering drawings and achieving tight tolerances.

• Perform work safely and comply with OHS procedures.
