The Opportunity
We are seeking a Trade Qualified Fitter Turner / Machinist for a casual position offering full-time hours under our standard EBA. Based in our workshop, you will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Operate manual and CNC machines.
Programme, set, and operate CNC lathes.
Utilise Fanuc controllers effectively.
Run multiple machines simultaneously when required.
Qualifications required:
Qualifications: Trade Qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist.
Software: MasterCAM and Autodesk Inventor experience (highly regarded).
Key Attributes:
Minimum 3 years post-trade experience is required for this role.
Skills: Strong CNC turning and programming skills.
Materials: Background in stainless and mild steel fabrication.
Drawings: Ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances.
Advanced CAM programming experience would be a bonus.
Attitude: Reliable, proactive, and ability to meet targets.
