Wideline Windows and Doors is an Australian-owned business that has been designing and manufacturing aluminium and timber windows and doors since 1971. We employ over 350 people across our large manufacturing operations spanning more than nine acres on the Central Coast and Port Macquarie in New South Wales.
Our facilities include residential aluminium, architectural aluminium, timber, screens, state-of-the-art glass production, and a vertical powder-coat plant. We’ve invested heavily in modern manufacturing and are equally committed to investing in our people as we continue to grow.
The Role
Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Queensland-based Service Technician to join our team.
While our products are manufactured in NSW, this role is permanently based in Queensland and will involve regular travel throughout the region — from Northern NSW through to the Sunshine Coast, and surrounding areas.
You will provide onsite installation support, servicing, adjustments, and glazing of Wideline window and door products.
Previous experience in the windows and doors industry is preferred but not essential. What’s most important is a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and flexibility to start early and work overtime when required.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, installation support, and site glazing as required
Replace extrusions and components when necessary
Perform general product adjustments and fault rectification
Assist with maintaining stock levels in the service vehicle
Represent Wideline professionally in all customer and client interactions
Personal Attributes & Requirements
Current QLD Driver’s Licence
White Card
Strong work ethic with a reliable, can-do attitude
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
Physically capable of repetitive manual handling
Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
