Service Technician – Queensland Based

Wideline Windows and Doors

About Us

Wideline Windows and Doors is an Australian-owned business that has been designing and manufacturing aluminium and timber windows and doors since 1971. We employ over 350 people across our large manufacturing operations spanning more than nine acres on the Central Coast and Port Macquarie in New South Wales.

Our facilities include residential aluminium, architectural aluminium, timber, screens, state-of-the-art glass production, and a vertical powder-coat plant. We’ve invested heavily in modern manufacturing and are equally committed to investing in our people as we continue to grow.

The Role

Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Queensland-based Service Technician to join our team.

While our products are manufactured in NSW, this role is permanently based in Queensland and will involve regular travel throughout the region — from Northern NSW through to the Sunshine Coast, and surrounding areas.

You will provide onsite installation support, servicing, adjustments, and glazing of Wideline window and door products.

Previous experience in the windows and doors industry is preferred but not essential. What’s most important is a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and flexibility to start early and work overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, installation support, and site glazing as required

  • Replace extrusions and components when necessary

  • Perform general product adjustments and fault rectification

  • Assist with maintaining stock levels in the service vehicle

  • Represent Wideline professionally in all customer and client interactions

Personal Attributes & Requirements

  • Current QLD Driver’s Licence

  • White Card

  • Strong work ethic with a reliable, can-do attitude

  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

  • Physically capable of repetitive manual handling

  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test

What We Offer

  • Permanent, full-time position

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities

  • Genuine career progression pathways within a growing business
