TRUCK TECH is looking for a hands-on Leading Hand to lead our Chipping Norton workshop.
This is an opportunity for an experienced heavy vehicle technician to step into a key leadership role within a growing business. You'll lead from the front, mentor your team, drive workshop performance, and play a major role in building a culture of safety, accountability, and quality.

Lead day-to-day workshop operations
Mentor and develop apprentices and technicians
Allocate jobs and manage workflow to maximise productivity
Support diagnostic and complex repair work
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
Drive accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across the workshop
Lead by example and uphold TRUCK TECH standards
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Extensive experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repairs
Previous Leading Hand, Foreman, or supervisory experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
The ability to coach, mentor, and develop others
Pride in your work and a willingness to uphold high standards
