About Us

Fitters RV Plumbing Pty Ltd is a reputable plumbing company based in Melbourne's northern suburbs, servicing Craigieburn, and surrounding areas. We specialise in residential and commercial plumbing, maintenance, installations, and RV plumbing solutions. We are currently looking for a qualified and reliable Plumber & Gas Fitter to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

Position 1: PLUMBER

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumber to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and safety regulations.

The salary will be offered between $95,000 – $105,000 per annum, plus Superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts.
  • Install, repair, and maintain hot and cold-water systems, sanitary fixtures, and drainage systems.
  • Assemble and install pipes, valves, and fittings using hand and power tools.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite.
  • Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent).
  • Minimum two years of relevant industry experience as a Plumber.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position 2: GAS FITTER

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Gas Fitter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gas appliances and gas piping systems in residential and light commercial settings, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards, the Victorian Gas Safety Code, and VBA regulations.

The salary will be offered between $100,000 – $110,000 per annum, plus Superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine gas system layouts.
  • Install, repair, and maintain gas appliances including hot water systems, cooktops, and heating units.
  • Assemble and install gas pipes, valves, and fittings using hand and power tools.
  • Perform gas appliance servicing, safety checks, leak detection, and combustion testing.
  • Test gas systems for leaks and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency gas repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite.
  • Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent) with gas fitting endorsement.
  • Current Victorian Gasfitter License (Type A servicing ticket required; Type B highly regarded).
  • Minimum two years of relevant industry experience as a Gas Fitter.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
