We are looking for a Motor Mechanic with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, this

person will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining a wide range of motor vehicles and

ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard of safety and quality. The role supports the

operational activities of the business, including vehicle processing, dismantling, and

preparation of parts for resale. This role is vital for supporting King Auto Group Pty Ltd.’s

operations and its growth.

Tasks and responsibilities

Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in motor

vehicles

Conducting routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions,

brakes, and suspension systems

Removing, testing and preparing vehicle components and parts for resale

Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues

Dismantling vehicles and safely extracting reusable parts

Ensuring all repairs and procedures comply with safety and industry standards

Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation

Assisting with workshop operations and maintaining a clean and safe working

environment

Qualifications/Requirements

Certificate Ill in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification) or

relevant trade qualification with proven industry experience

Minimum 2 years of full-time relevant work experience as a motor mechanic or in a

related field

Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models

Practical experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, and parts handling
