The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motor vehicles while ensuring all work is completed to high industry and safety standards.
Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation.
· Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical faults.
· Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems.
· Perform routine servicing and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
· Use diagnostic equipment and specialised tools to identify vehicle issues.
· Test and adjust mechanical parts after repairs.
· Maintain accurate service and repair records.
· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
· Provide professional advice to customers regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.
· Relevant qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher.
· Minimum 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic.
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
· Current driver's licence preferred.
