About the role
As a Technician Field Specialist – GWEO at Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our state-of-the-art defence technology systems. This full-time position is based in Port Wakefield, SA, and will see you working on-site to ensure the continued reliability and performance of our cutting-edge equipment.
What you'll be doing
Performing comprehensive testing, diagnostic, and repair activities on a range of defence technology systems
Maintaining detailed records of all work completed and reporting on system performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvements
Providing on-site support and troubleshooting to address any technical issues or system failures
Participating in training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices
What we're looking for
Relevant technical qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in a related field
Extensive experience as a field technician or specialist, particularly in the defence or high-tech industries
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Willingness to travel to remote sites and work flexible hours as needed
