About the role
Daily tasks will include:
Maintain records of goods ordered and received which includes: checking delivered stock to delivery dockets and original purchase orders. Follow up on stock that has been back ordered.
Data entry and maintenance of the computerised inventory management system
Carrying out receipting, issuing and stock control of a range of products, goods and equipment
Communicate with team members in regards to buying and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies
Stack and organise stock received
Maintain appropriate stock levels in the store and have an awareness of when reordering of low stock is required
Distribute stock and equipment to manufacturing staff as requested throughout the day
Arrange for disposal of surplus materials & keep workspace neat and tidy
Comply with safety and OH&S requirements
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will possess:
Willingness to follow safe work practices
Ability to work well independently and in a team
Strong communication and organisational skills to work with a sense of urgency
High attention to detail and willingness to be responsible for quality of own work produced
Trustworthy with a positive can-do attitude
Past experience with an inventory management system is advantageous but not essential
Will need to consent to all internal security clearance requirements

Full time with competitive rates, wage negotiable on experience
7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am - 12pm Friday
