About the role ✅

As a vital member of BM Techniks, your responsibilities will encompass conducting service and repairs with a focus on independent work. Your duties will include:

• Servicing BMW vehicles to manufacturers' requirements, identifying additional work through safety checks.

• Mechanical diagnosis and repairs.

• Electrical diagnosis and repairs, with expertise in advanced communication systems like CANBUS and Fiber networks.

• Working with BMW systems such as VANOS and Valvetronic.

• Experience with ISTA software.

• Engine rebuilding, covering advanced repairs like timing chains, belts, and bearing replacement.

• Cooling system repairs and maintenance.

• Dismantling and reassembling intricate mechanical systems and related components, requiring the ability to comprehend and learn new procedures effectively.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications ✅

To be considered for this position, we expect you to possess the following knowledge, skills and qualifications:

• Possession of Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

• BMW Certification or a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience working on BMW or European-manufactured vehicles.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and equipment.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

• Ability to demonstrate a high standard of work ethic.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
