About the role ✅
As a vital member of BM Techniks, your responsibilities will encompass conducting service and repairs with a focus on independent work. Your duties will include:
Servicing BMW vehicles to manufacturers' requirements, identifying additional work through safety checks.
Mechanical diagnosis and repairs.
Electrical diagnosis and repairs, with expertise in advanced communication systems like CANBUS and Fiber networks.
Working with BMW systems such as VANOS and Valvetronic.
Experience with ISTA software.
Engine rebuilding, covering advanced repairs like timing chains, belts, and bearing replacement.
Cooling system repairs and maintenance.
Dismantling and reassembling intricate mechanical systems and related components, requiring the ability to comprehend and learn new procedures effectively.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications ✅
To be considered for this position, we expect you to possess the following knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Possession of Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
BMW Certification or a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience working on BMW or European-manufactured vehicles.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Ability to demonstrate a high standard of work ethic.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
