About the role

As an Edible Oils Refinery Operator, you will play a key role in the operations of Alba Edible Oils Pty Ltd's refinery located in Hamilton Hill, Western Australia. This full-time position is instrumental in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of crude oil into high-quality edible oils. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring the refinery equipment to deliver a consistent and reliable supply of products to our customers. This role is ideal for someone with experience in warehousing, packing, and stock control who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and quality.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and monitor refinery machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality

• Pack edible oil/tallow products accurately and efficiently according to company standards.

• Label, check, and prepare finished goods for dispatch or storage.

• Assist with warehouse duties including stock movement, stock rotation, and inventory checks.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to prevent downtime and maintain efficient operations.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area at all times.

• Maintain detailed records of production data, equipment performance, and quality control measures

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment

• Work collaboratively with team members across different shifts to meet production and dispatch targets.

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in edible oil processing or a similar industrial manufacturing environment

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a busy warehouse or production environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and product quality

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Flexible and dependable, with the ability to work an 8-hour shift from Monday to Sunday, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

• A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
