The Opportunity

This role reports to the Construction Manager where they will have the opportunity to travel both interstate and internationally. We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic, and the successful candidate will have a high level of professional integrity to represent AVI.

What you will be doing

Install refrigeration piping and equipment
Field running, testing and commissioning of completed refrigeration systems
Test, repair and connect wiring to electric power source within electrical license restrictions
Carry out assigned installation tasks including framing, fit-out, assembly and handover preparation under the supervision of Senior Installer
Support all stages of the builds, while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency
Remain abreast of technical advances within refrigeration

About You:

Min 3-5 years’ experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration systems
Must be an Australian citizen to travel overseas on sensitive business
Must be physically fit to assist with loading / unloading of structural framing
Hold a current Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification & Refrigerant Handling License (RAC)
Hold a current Restricted Electrical Licence
Hold a White Card
Strong work ethic, enthusiastic and conscientious with a flexible approach
Current driver’s licence

This is a permanent, full-time role. This role is a key position that requires the incumbent to travel overseas on behalf of AVI. Australian citizens who are eligible to apply for a security clearance can only apply for this position due to the sensitive nature of our business.
