Our client is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic Supervisor to join their team based in Wangara. This well-established Perth-based business delivers high-quality HVAC and refrigeration services across commercial, industrial and residential projects, with a strong focus on safety, workmanship and team culture.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a company vehicle, on-site parking and a close-knit team environment. This role suits a trade-qualified HVAC professional with strong technical experience who is ready to step into a leadership position while remaining hands-on.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supervising technicians and apprentices across multiple sites
  • Installation, servicing and fault-finding on HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing system components including compressors, motors and condensers
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
  • Testing, commissioning, leak testing and refrigerant handling
  • Liaising with customers, builders and project managers
  • Ensuring WHS compliance and quality workmanship
  • Completing service reports and job documentation
  • Supporting apprentice training and development

What you’ll need:

  • Trade qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Experience with ducted, split system and VRV/VRF systems
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Manual Driver’s Licence and White Card
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Strong WHS knowledge and safety focus
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
