Light Vehicle Automotive Technician

Bellbowrie Mechanical are seeking an experienced automotive technician with a passion for quality repair work & vehicle maintenance to join our established team.

Reporting to the workshop manager you will be expected to work in a team environment unsupervised in all facets of mechanical repair & servicing.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a technical, brand diverse workshop and grow your skill set. We have a wide array of diagnostic & mechanical tools, lab scopes and servicing equipment at your disposal and attend and pay for regular training events with our staff.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake;

• Log book servicing & general vehicle maintenance

• Diagnosing & fault finding on an array of vehicle brands

• Air conditioning service & repair

• Tyre fitting, balancing & wheel alignments

• Brake, clutch & suspension servicing & repair

• Regular scan tool & diagnostic equipment use

• General workshop cleaning & maintenance duties

Experience in all the above tasks will be favoured but are not essential to your successful application.

Technicians with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills are highly valued within our workshop. Applicants with proven diagnostic experience may be offered a remuneration package above the advertised range, based on their skills and experience.

Our purpose built workshops in Seventeen Mile Rocks offers a clean, safe & modern working environment for the potential new employee who will be joining an established, passionate team.

You must be punctual, well presented, self motivated with excellent communication skills. You must hold a current Queensland manual drivers licence and have your own tools & safety boots.

This position is available only for Australian residents.

Hours : Monday - Friday 38hr Week.
