Founded on a commitment to employ quality apprentices and provide exceptional support OSMAC Apprenticeships has grown to be one of Queensland’s largest apprentice employers with completion rates amongst the highest in the industry.
Our client, an established business providing highly specialised trucks for the mining/civil construction industry, has a sought after position for a 1st to 3rd year apprentice wishing to continue their apprenticeship as an Auto Electrician in a pleasant workshop providing a wide variety of tasks. These are industry leading machines that are now being exported globally and require apprentices with a high level of aptitude/attention to detail.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Have the motivation/drive to succeed in the trade
Possess a licence and reliable transport
Be punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record
Be motivated to learn and have a positive attitude towards all aspects of the trade
Be able to wok well in team
Follow instructions well
Able to Work safely
Be able to work in a drug free environment
Be open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade
Have the ability to achieve sound results in a maths and mechanical aptitude test that all applicants will have to undertake
Applicants with prior experience will be given preference and if possible fast tracked through recognition of prior learning and flexible college options
ability to read basic wiring diagrams
