Handyperson - Kununurra

This is a casual or fixed term full-time appointment with 76 hours per fortnight with possibility of extension and permanency

Position Profile: An opportunity exists for a Handyperson to join our team. The occupant of this position provides maintenance and support functions including gardening, general labouring, and simple repairs, and maintenance relating to the hospitals, clinics, accommodation and associated health service sites within the East Kimberley catchment area.

Eligibility to Apply: Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia at the time of application, holding a valid working visa for fixed‑term appointments or being an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or visa holder with indefinite work and residency rights for permanent appointments.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
