Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Heavy Duty Tyre Fitters to join our team on a 7/7 roster across multiple mine sites.

The Role

As a Heavy Duty Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for the safe inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement of tyres fitted to large-scale mining equipment. You will work within a high-performing team committed to maintaining fleet reliability while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tyre inspections and condition monitoring on heavy mining equipment.

• Perform tyre fitting, removal, repair, rotation, and replacement activities.

• Diagnose tyre failures and identify root causes of tyre-related defects.

• Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately and on time.

• Operate tyre handling equipment and associated tooling safely.

• Maintain compliance with site safety standards, procedures, and statutory requirements.

• Participate in risk assessments, pre-start inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Contribute to a positive team culture focused on safety, productivity, and operational excellence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Previous experience as a Heavy Duty Tyre Fitter within mining, earthmoving, or heavy industry environments.

Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR21920) 

• Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.

• Current Driver’s Licence.

• HRWL (Or willingness to obtain)

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• A professional attitude and strong work ethic.
