About the Role

As Used Car Manager, you will be responsible for driving the performance and growth of our dedicated used vehicle site. You will have significant influence over stock purchasing, pricing strategy, vehicle presentation, sales performance, and team development.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can think strategically while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase quality used vehicle stock.

• Manage inventory levels, ageing stock, pricing, and profitability.

• Lead and develop a high-performing sales team.

• Drive sales volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction outcomes.

• Oversee vehicle reconditioning and presentation standards.

• Develop stock acquisition strategies through trade-ins, auctions, and direct purchasing.

• Monitor market trends and pricing to maximise competitiveness.

• Build and implement processes that support long-term growth and success.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or Senior Automotive Sales Manager.

• Strong vehicle appraisal and purchasing skills.

• Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and profitability.

• Excellent leadership and team development capabilities.

• Strong understanding of used vehicle market trends and stock management.

• Commercially minded with a hands-on approach.

• High levels of energy, accountability, and motivation.
