General Hand / Trade Assistant Wanted

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Hand / Trade Assistant to join our team within the agriculture and manufacturing services sector based in Devonport, Tasmania.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, working outdoors, and being part of a supportive team environment.

Duties Include

• Assisting technicians and tradespeople on-site

• General workshop and site labouring

• Handling tools, materials, and equipment

• Cleaning and maintaining work areas

• Assisting with installations, maintenance, and repairs

• Loading and unloading materials when required

Requirements

• Physically fit and reliable, with the ability to work outdoors and work with steel and concrete in a team environment

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Current Driver’s Licence — Essential

• White Card preferred

• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

• Basic hand and power tool knowledge advantageous
