About the Role
Based out of our Hobart depot, you’ll travel throughout Hobart and across Tasmania installing reinforcing trusses on power poles. This is hands‑on outdoor work where every day is a bit different - ideal for someone who enjoys physical tasks, working in small teams, and seeing different parts of the state. If you like variety, enjoy travelling, and don’t mind getting dirty, you’ll fit right in.
What We’re Looking For
These attributes are essential for success in the role:
A strong commitment to working safely at all times.
Willingness to travel and work away from home on a 10:4 roster, when required.
The ability to work closely and cooperatively within a small team.
Current C‑class driver’s licence.
Ability to pass ongoing drug & alcohol screening.
Full working rights in Australia.
Living in the Hobart or surrounding area.
Highly Regarded Qualifications & Experience
Not mandatory, but definitely an advantage:
MR or HR truck licence.
First Aid certification.
Forklift licence.
White Card.
Experience in landscaping, civil works, or power networks.
Mechanical and/or Electrical Accumen
