About the role

Join the dynamic team at LDJ LOGISTICS' as a full-time MC Local Driver based in Burton SA 5110. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the region, contributing to the company's success in the Road Transport industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate heavy vehicles, including prime movers and semi-trailers, to transport goods to designated locations

2. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety

3. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to minimise the risk of incidents or accidents

4. Maintain accurate records of driving times, distances, and other relevant information

5. Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimise delivery routes and schedules

6. Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in good condition

7. Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as needed

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a MC Driver in the Road Transport industry

2. Valid MC driver's licence and a clean driving record

3. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and the ability to operate heavy vehicles safely

4. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

5. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

6. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
