Turf Irrigation Technicians

We’re now seeking an experienced Turf Irrigation Technicians to join our Brisbane/Sunshine Coast team in a dynamic role. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll install, commission, service and repair irrigation and pumping systems across sports turf, recreation and other sites. This role requires travel across South East QLD, including some occasional overnight travel.

YOU WILL

• Install, commission, service and repair irrigation and pumping systems across commercial, sports turf, agricultural and municipal sites.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on pumps, pump stations, control systems, valves and irrigation networks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to maximise system performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with the delivery of new irrigation and pumping projects from installation through to handover.
• Work with customers to identify solutions and provide exceptional service on-site.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and project documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Support emergency breakdown response and after-hours work when required.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship and environmental compliance.
• Represent The Pump House professionally while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the business by identifying opportunities for improvements, upgrades and additional services.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Experience in irrigation, pumping, plumbing, mechanical, electrical or related field services
• Sound knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, motors, controllers, filtration systems
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics and technical documentation.
• Related trade qualification (plumbing, electrical, mechanical) (desirable).
• Experience working on commercial, sports turf, council, agricultural or industrial sites (desirable).
