Resto Rescue is a leading insurance restoration and makesafe company servicing Melbourne and surrounding areas. We provide 24/7 emergency response services for water damage, mould remediation, fire and smoke restoration, leak detection, storm damage, structural drying, and makesafe works.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated Restoration Technicians to join our expanding team.

The Role

As a Restoration Technician, you will attend residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, storm, mould and accidental damage events.

Your responsibilities will include:

Emergency makesafe works
Water extraction and flood restoration
Installation and monitoring of drying equipment
Mould remediation and containment setup
Strip-outs and demolition of damaged building materials
Detailed moisture mapping and documentation
Thermal imaging
Contents handling and cleaning
Completing job reports, photos and site documentation
Providing exceptional customer service to clients during stressful situations
Participating in an after-hours on-call roster

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential:

Current Victorian Driver's Licence
White Card
Working with Children Check
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Reliable, punctual and professional presentation
Ability to pass a Police Check

Desirable:

IICRC qualifications (WRT, AMRT, FSRT)
Experience in restoration, building, construction, demolition or insurance repairs
Experience operating drying equipment
First Aid Certificate
Working at Heights
EWP, Confined Space or other industry-related tickets
