Pastry Cook Assistant - Production

We are seeking an energetic and reliable pastry cook assistant to join our experienced production team.

Cakes West is comprised of 3 trading bakeries namely Cake Box, Cookies and More and Danish Patisserie

We are a leading provider of premium baked goods, with over 20 years of experience in the industry

The role

• Production of high-volume quality cakes, cookies, pastries, muffins, slices

• Assisting our mixer; batch mixing, accurately measure and mix ingredients, heavy lifting is required

• Weekdays 4:00am to 12:00pm, Monday to Friday

• Maintain compliance with food hygiene procedures and safety requirements

• Assisting the teams across all aspects of our production

  Requirements

• Experience as pastry assistant is preferred

• Meticulous in following recipes, procedures and process to ensure consistent high-quality products

• Relevant industry experience in high-volume, fast-paced food production environment

• Able to complete repetitive tasks and heavy lifting

• Strong understanding of HACCP advantageous

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team under pressure

• Must have Australian work rights with no restrictions (No Visa Sponsorship available)
