About us

Tyrepower Ballina is a family owned store which is part of the Tyrepower Co-op network. Our primary focus is fitting tyres and basic underbody work which includes Wheel Alignments, suspension and steering work. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our store as a Tyre Fitter.

No experience is necessary in this role as all on the job training can be provided to the right candidate. What we are looking for is is an enthusiastic, physically fit person with a great attitude towards customer service, as well as a high level of attention to detail.

Cert II Underbody - Steering and Suspension training on offer for the right candidate. This course would teach the required skills to perform wheel alignments and perform basic repairs to Steering and suspension systems.

Qualifications & experience

• No experience necessary but desirable

• Current drivers License or Provisional license

• Must hold a minimum Provisional P1 licence

• Interest in Automotive not essential but preferred

• Would suit school leaver or someone who is a car enthusiast.

• Position is Full time Mon - Fri. 8am till 4pm.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Tyre Fitting

• General housekeeping

• Stock receiving

• Wheel Alignment diagnosis and adjustment (after training)

• Steering and Suspension diagnosis and repair (after training)

• Brake system diagnosis and repair (after training)
