L&I Electrical Pty Ltd is a highly recognised Electrical Switchboard Manufacturer and industry leader in Melbourne’s South East. We produce high quality electrical switchboards to a wide range of client’s, offering them innovative solutions to solve the most complex requirements. This apprenticeship will give you the skills to:

·         Manufacture switchboards & control panels

·         Wire & install motor control equipment

·         PLC & VSD wiring

·         Busbar fabrication

·         Understanding of electrical schematics

·         Understanding of Australian Standards and Statutory Regulations

·         General understanding of electrical engineering principles, applicable to the trade

 

We are looking for a number of passionate and confident people to commence a well-paid (well above award rates) apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter (This is NOT an “A Grade Licence” Apprenticeship, however there is an opportunity to acquire a “Switchgear  Workers Licence (SW)” once your training is complete).  

The successful applicants will undertake a Certificate III in Electrical Fitting at Holmesglen TAFE (one day per week). The remaining days are factory based, located in Kilsyth, in a clean and modern workshop.
