Commercial Cleaner

About the role

DeFine Services (S.A.) is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team in Adelaide SA CBD. This is a casual position that offers the highest standards of commercial cleaning excellence. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic and professional environments. This role is essential to ensuring our clients' facilities remain pristine and welcoming, contributing directly to their business success and the wellbeing of their occupants.

We have multiple positions consisting of:

Morning Shift Mon-Fri 6am to 9am,

Night Shift Mon- Fri between 6pm - 9pm

What you'll be doing

1. Performing routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, blowing, glass cleaning and sanitising across commercial spaces (but not limited to)

2. Maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and materials throughout assigned areas

3. Following established cleaning schedules to ensure consistent quality standards

4. Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or damage to supervisory staff

5. Adhering to health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines in all cleaning operations

6. Managing waste disposal responsibly and maintaining cleanliness in storage and equipment areas

7. Communicating professionally with clients and colleagues to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services

8. Responding flexibly to additional cleaning requirements or urgent requests as they arise

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments

2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

3. Ability to work independently and as a team and manage time effectively across multiple areas

4. Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift equipment and supplies

5. Reliability and a flexible approach to casual working arrangements

6. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to cleaning chemicals and procedures

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

8. A current SA National Police Clearance

9. Valid work authorisation to work in Australia
