Truck Driver - Scrap Yard

Browns' Scrap Metal Services is seeking a Hook-Lift truck driver.  The position is full-time.

Due to recent growth, Browns’ Scrap Metal Services is seeking an experienced and reliable HR Licenced driver to join our team, and service our valued customers.

This role will be based out of our Gepps Cross branch and will see you working Monday to Friday, with Saturday work also available. As a suitably qualified HR Licenced Driver, you will have the energy, motivation, and professionalism to represent the company in all facets of this role, comply with various site safety requirements, have effective communication, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential.

The Role:

• Responsible for operating Hook-Lift vehicle

• Completing multi-drop deliveries across metropolitan Adelaide

• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required

• A mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems

• Maintain a professional image of the company and always deliver high quality customer service

• Comply with the systems and standards set when dealing with internal and external customers

Selection Criteria:

• Unrestricted HR - Drivers Licence 

• Clean Driving Record (5+ years)

• Pass a Truck Safe Pre - employment Medical (Including Drug and Alcohol Screening)

• A professional presentation and manner with a strong customer service ethic

• Good team attitude, reliable and willing to learn.
