WORKSHOP OPERATIVE

Pirtek Darwin is seeking an energetic team member for the Darwin Branch. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.

Australian work rights are required for this position with valid work visa accepted.

General Tasks

• Learn hose assembly, Machine/Weld and pipe-bending procedures
• Assist to customers' needs at counter and on the phone
• Support and general housekeeping in operations of the Hose Service Centre

PROGRESSION TO MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN FOR RIGHT CANDIDATE - CERT II/III REQUIRED

You

• A strong understanding of customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to carry out instructions
• Mechanical and/or Hydraulic background - Own tools preferred
• Entry level or basic mechanical and/or hydraulic experience is required
• Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
• Current Manual Driver's License
• Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
• An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
• Maintain neat and tidy dress and appearance in line with Pirtek Dress Code Policy
