Klondu Group is a leader in heavy fabrication, repair, and precision machining of medium to heavy industrial components. We service mining, steelworks, and infrastructure sectors and are located at Steelhaven within BlueScope Steel, Port Kembla.

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Machinists, Fitters & Maintenance Fitter to join our workshop team. These are permanent, full-time positions offering consistent overtime and long-term job stability.

Machinist (Trade Qualified)

• Experience in manual machining and/or CNC operation

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience with horizontal borers

• Experience operating heavy mills and lathes

Fitter (Trade Qualified)

• Experience in heavy fitting

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience with strip and report processes

• Experience with dynamic balancing (desirable)

Maintenance Fitter (Trade Qualified)

·         Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments.

·         Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

·         Maintenance experience with heavy industrial machinery.

·         Proficient in data entry, maintenance reporting, and record management.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Licences

• Forklift Licence (LF)

• Dogging Licence (DG)

• Bridge & Gantry Crane Licence (CB)
