Description:
Lansell Square Bakers Delight is seeking a qualified and passionate Baker to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of fresh bread and bakery products while ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, presentation, and freshness. The Baker will maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to food safety and hygiene requirements, and work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets. Previous experience in a similar role, relevant baking qualifications, and a genuine passion for baking are essential.

Task & responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products to a high standard.
- Check the quality of ingredients and accurately measure and mix materials according to recipes.
- Knead, shape, mould, and prepare doughs and pastry products for baking.
- Prepare fillings, toppings, icings, and decorative finishes for bakery items.
- Monitor baking processes, oven temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistency.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product freshness and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, trays, and baking utensils in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and comply with food hygiene regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation, ingredient storage, and general bakery operations as required.
Qualification & experience
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in related position.
