Motor Mechanic (General) – (ANZSCO - 321211)

JOB TITLE or POSITION: Motor Mechanic (General) – (ANZSCO - 321211).

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE: May hold a relevant Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Certificate IV including one (1) year of relevant and full-time / equivalent work experience OR relevant AQF Certificate III including two (2) years of relevant and full-time / equivalent work experience OR at least three (3) years of relevant and full-time / equivalent work experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information to other staff, management, and owners.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Sound understanding of health and safety obligations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  We are looking for an enthusiastic person with the right skill set and experience to join our team.

• Reassemble engines, systems, and mechanical components after repairs are completed.
• Diagnose mechanical faults using both traditional methods and computer‑assisted diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including lubrication, oil changes, and engine tune‑ups.
• Remove, dismantle, and inspect engines, systems, and related components to assess condition and identify defects.
• Replace or repair worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts to restore optimal performance.
• Test, calibrate, and fine‑tune mechanical systems following repairs to ensure correct operation.
• Evaluate and adjust mechanical components to achieve proper alignment, performance, and reliability.
• Always follow environmental and sustainability best practices at workplace.

SALARY: A$73,500 – A$80,000 annual base pay + superannuation.
