R KATARIA PTY LTD, trading as Blush Beauty and Threading Bar, is seeking a skilled and experienced Beauty Therapist for a permanent full-time position of 38 hours per week (Australian PR and Citizen preferred). Blush Beauty and Threading Bar provides a wide range of beauty services, including eyebrow and facial threading, eyebrow waxing, tinting, henna brows, lash lifts, brow lamination, eyelash extensions, facials, waxing and cosmetic tattoo-related services. The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with clients, understanding their beauty needs and skin concerns, recommending suitable treatments, performing beauty therapy services safely and professionally, maintaining hygiene and infection control standards, managing bookings and client records, providing aftercare advice, and delivering a welcoming and high-quality client experience.

Task & responsibilities

Consulting with clients to understand their beauty needs, skin concerns, treatment expectations and preferred outcomes before recommending suitable beauty treatments.
Analyzing clients’ skin type, facial features, eyebrow shape and hair growth pattern to recommend appropriate facial treatments, threading, waxing, tinting, henna, lash lift, brow lamination or other beauty services.
Performing eyebrow threading and facial threading services with precision to shape, define and enhance clients’ natural facial features.
Providing waxing services for unwanted facial and body hair removal, ensuring safe application techniques, hygiene standards and client comfort throughout the treatment.
Carrying out eyebrow and eyelash tinting, hybrid tinting and henna brow treatments to enhance brow and lash appearance according to client preferences.
Performing lash lift treatments and brow lamination services, including preparation, product application, timing, aftercare advice and maintaining treatment quality.
Providing facial treatments and skin-care services, including cleansing, exfoliation, facial massage techniques and suitable product application according to the client’s skin condition.
Applying beauty therapy products safely and correctly, including wax, tint, henna, lash lift solutions, brow lamination products and facial skin-care products.
Assisting with cosmetic tattoo-related preparation and aftercare guidance, where required, in accordance with salon procedures and hygiene requirements.
Evaluating the suitability and effectiveness of beauty therapy products and treatment processes to ensure client safety, quality outcomes and skin health.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, sanitation and infection control by cleaning treatment areas, sterilising tools and safely handling beauty products and equipment.
Receiving bookings, arranging client appointments, managing treatment times and maintaining accurate client records, including treatment history, preferences and aftercare notes.
Providing clients with professional aftercare advice following threading, waxing, tinting, lash, brow and facial treatments.
Recommending suitable beauty and skin-care products to clients and explaining product use to support treatment results and ongoing care.
Ensuring a professional, welcoming and client-focused service experience consistent with Blush Beauty and Threading Bar’s reputation for eyebrow, lash, waxing and facial beauty services.

Qualification & experience

Certificate III or IV in Beauty Therapy or equivalent work experience to replace the qualification
Proven experience of minimum 1-2 years working as a Beauty Therapist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and a passion for beauty therapy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
