RK Maroochy Pty Ltd  t/as Bombay Bliss is seeking a full time chef to work in our Maroochydore restaurant.

The successful chef will be an intricate part of the kitchen team,  they will need to be competent in all areas of the kitchen, have a strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.

Task & responsibilities

Assist head chef to manage kitchen operations.

Complete daily prep and cook food as per orders during service.  Meet dietary requirements when required.

Assist head chef when required, run kitchen when head chef isn't in kitchen.

Complete stock orders as per kitchen procedures.

Oversee daily/weekly kitchen cleaning roster, maintaining kitchen and equipment to standards.

Coordinate kitchen staff and assist / train staff as required.

Responsible for kitchen equipment and machinery are operational and operational at all times.

Assist head chef to plan menus, keeping in mind budget and availability of seasonal ingredients.

Work to and manage all health and safety standards at all times.

Qualification & experience

•Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery required.

•Minimum of 1 years’ experience required working in a busy commercial kitchen.
