Anchara Cement Rendering Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Solid Plasterer to carry out rendering and plastering works across residential and commercial projects.

The remuneration is AU$75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

- Preparing masonry, concrete and rendered surfaces for plastering and rendering by cleaning, repairing imperfections and applying suitable preparation materials

- Reviewing site plans, measurements and job specifications to determine rendering methods, surface requirements and material quantities

- Preparing cement-based render, acrylic finishes and texture coating mixtures in accordance with project and product requirements

- Applying render and plaster finishes to internal and external wall surfaces using hand tools and mechanical equipment

- Achieving smooth and even finishes by shaping, compacting and refining rendered surfaces to required tolerances and textures

- Forming and aligning corners, edges and vertical surfaces to maintain consistency and finish quality across wall and façade areas

- Producing textured, decorative and architectural render finishes to suit residential and commercial construction requirements

- Installing decorative plaster features, trims and moulded finishes as part of rendering and solid plastering works

- Restoring damaged rendered surfaces by repairing cracks, patching defects and refinishing affected areas

- Positioning and securing metal beads, trims and reinforcement components to support accurate rendering application and durability

- Applying specialised coating systems including acoustic, insulating and protective finishes where specified

- Using and maintaining rendering and plastering equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with workplace procedures

- Working alongside builders and other trades to coordinate rendering activities and meet construction schedules

- Checking completed rendering and plastering work to ensure finish quality and compliance with project specifications

- Maintaining safe and organised work areas and following workplace health and safety requirements throughout all stages of work

Qualification & experience

Qualifications:

- At least a Certificate III qualification in solid plastering, rendering or a related trade

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience as a Solid Plasterer or Cement Renderer.

Skills:

- Sound knowledge of solid plastering, cement rendering and decorative finishing techniques

- Ability to safely use rendering tools and equipment and deliver high-quality finishes

- Good teamwork, time management and understanding of workplace health and safety practices

Other requirements:

- White Card (Construction Induction Card) preferred.

- Driver licence preferred.
