Working as a senior technician, your role will include onsite technical and supervisory work alongside a great team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, service, maintain and repair overhead electrical cranes, hoists and associated electrical and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical breakdowns using testing and diagnostic equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals to complete maintenance and repair work.
Proven experience in fault finding electrical and mechanical breakdowns on all types of overhead cranes.
Have awareness and knowledge of the OHS requirements
Ability to gather and present job reports/findings in a presentable manner
Assist with quoting repairs, compiling and reviewing reports
Assist with training and supervising of technicians
Additional:
Work Overtime, when necessary
Be available to travel, when necessary
Qualifications:
Australian recognised Tradesperson Certificate - A Grade electrical licence
Current Driver's Licence
Working at Heights Certificate
High Risk Licence - EWP
Dogging or Rigging Licence (Preferred)
Skills Required:
Apprenticeship
3 years of relevant experience
Capable of interpreting policies, procedures and safety management procedures.
Have an outstanding safety record and ongoing commitment to providing a safe working environment
Provide high-quality customer service at all times
Excellent communication skills
Have a good attitude with clients
Ability to Work at Heights
