Carpenter and Joiner

Innov8 Joinery Solutions are seeking full time Carpenters and Joiners for our teams with the following duties:

• Interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications to identify required materials measurements, and installation methods.
• Measure, mark, and prepare layouts to ensure accuracy before fabrication begins.
• Cut shape, and ensemble timber components using hand and power tools, ensuring tight joins and structural integrity.
• Construct and install frameworks, roofing structures, flowing systems, and wall partitions, ensuring alignment and level accuracy.
• Install external elements such as cladding, window and door frames, fascia boards and roof coverings.
• Fabricate and ensemble custom woodwork components off-site or in workshop settings for final installation.
• Create precision joints and connections to ensure strength, durability, and high-quality finish.
• Build formwork for concrete structures when required.
• Carry out maintenance, modifications and repairs to existing structures and fittings.
• Manufacture and install bespoke cabinetry, shelving, counters, and display units for retail and commercial environments.
• Ensure all fittings meet design specifications, brand standards, and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other trades to deliver complete fit-out solutions on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications including certificate III or higher in carpentry or joinery
• Minimum 2 years experience in relevant field with formal qualifications or 3 years carpentry or joinery experience in lieu of formal qualifications
