We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Baker to join our dynamic team at our Brighton store. This is a full-time, ongoing position ideal for a passionate and skilled professional.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, shape, and bake a range of bread, rolls, buns, and specialty items
• Operate and monitor baking machinery and ovens
• Ensure baked goods meet quality standards, appearance, and freshness
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS procedures
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bakery area
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 year of relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, baking times, and bakery operations
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a passion for artisan baking
