Electrician

About the role

Mayfield is seeking a full-time Electricians to play a key role in completing all electrical fitting works, including assembling switchboards, fitting out switch rooms and other integrated equipment solutions in a workshop-based setting. This role will support the project management team in providing project set-up and general project administrative support for clients in the following industries:

• Renewable Energy 
• Infrastructure
• Power Generation & Transmission
• Water & Wastewater
• Mining
• Heavy Industry
• Minerals & Metals Processing
• Oil & Gas

What you'll be doing

• First and second fix electrical installations inside a steel structured switch room.
• Electrical panel assembly.
• Use of electrical line diagrams, block diagrams, schematics and termination diagrams to performing point to point wiring.
• Installation, harnessing and termination of cabling for field devices.
• Plan and prepare work activities effectively.

What we're looking for:

• Ability to read and understand complex electrical drawings
• Electrical fitting and manufacturing experience
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian Standards
• Holds a Unrestricted Electrical/ Testing Technician Class A License
