MindBody Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Fitness Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Club Pilates & StretchLab facility in Perth, WA. This full-time position is available to support the continued growth of the business and the delivery of high-quality fitness and wellness services to our members.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, sound business acumen, excellent customer service abilities, and experience managing staff, fitness programs and facility operations within a dynamic health and fitness environment.

Task & responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fitness centre to ensure high service standards and a positive member experience
  • Planning and coordinating Pilates classes, assisted stretching, and other fitness programs to meet member and business objectives
  • Leading, supervising, training and supporting fitness and administrative staff
  • Developing and implementing strategies to attract new members and improve member retention
  • Coordinating marketing and promotional activities to increase awareness of the centre's services
  • Monitoring business performance, membership trends and operational outcomes
  • Ensuring fitness equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe and operational condition
  • Managing budgets, controlling operational costs and contributing to the overall profitability of the business
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant industry standards
  • Managing customer enquiries, feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Qualification & experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of full-time relevant experience in fitness centre, gym, health club or recreation facility management
  • Relevant qualification in Fitness, Sports Management, Business Management or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading and supervising teams within a fitness or wellness environment
  • Strong understanding of fitness operations, member services, health and safety requirements and facility management
  • Previous experience in coordinating Pilates classes and assisted stretching
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Passion for health, fitness and delivering exceptional customer experiences
