$79,000 - $85,000 Annual

We are seeking full-time Sports Development officer to join our team. You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering tennis coaching, training, and instruction to players, with a focus on technical, tactical, physical, and mental performance development
  • Designing and implementing match strategies, including shot selection patterns, point construction, and opponent analysis
  • Motivating players and supervising on-court and off-court training sessions, drills, and match practice
  • Assisting in the identification and recruitment of tennis players, and coordinating with coaching and support staff to support player development pathways
  • Organising player participation in tennis tournaments and competitions, including managing entries and scheduling commitments
  • Promoting tennis participation, supporting junior development programs, and fostering engagement in the sport at grassroots and competitive levels
  • Officiating at tennis matches where required, ensuring compliance with the rules of the game and fair play standards
  • Coordinating tennis programs and activities, while liaising with referees, officials, and tournament organisers to ensure consistent interpretation and application of rules.

The positions will be a full-time position. 

Qualification requirement:

  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma.

Experience alternative (if formal qualification is not held)

  •  Minimum 3 years relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification.
