Connect2Employment is a not-for-profit division of Connect2Group, a long-standing community organisation operating across the Brisbane South Region Employment Services Area.

We are inviting applications from motivated and dedicated individuals for the position of Employment Services Consultant located in Darra. This is a Full-Time position, with travel required to service sites across the Darra, Brisbane City, Ipswich area. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or grow their career in the employment services sector.

This position would involve:

  • Case Management of job seekers.

  • Creating employment opportunities through reverse marketing of jobseekers to employers.

  • Achieving individual placement targets and KPIs.

  • Providing onsite training and support to jobseekers thus maximising integration and long-term employment.

  • Addressing client barriers to obtaining employment including transport, lack of work experience, literacy and numeracy.

  • Ensuring compliance with all documentation in line with guidelines and requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a similar role will be highly regarded.

  • Understanding of disability services will be highly regarded.

  • Certificate IV in Employment services and/or certificate 3 in disability services or related

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of organisation and time management skills.

  • Proven ability in achieving targets and KPIs.

  • A valid Australian Drivers Licence.

  • Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain).

  • Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain).

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
