MSF Sugar is a leading Australian sugar producer and renewable energy producer. Based in Far North Queensland and part of the global Mitr Phol Group, we operate three sugar mills, extensive farming assets, and a renewable power station producing green energy from bagasse.

The Roles

Each year, MSF Sugar engages additional employees to assist with operational requirements throughout the cane crushing season. These seasonal positions are generally run from June to December, subject to operational demands. These opportunities are based at our South Johnstone Mill, located just 15 minutes from Innisfail.

Seasonal Positions Available for the 2026 Crushing Season:

• Empty Yard Attendant

• Full Yard Assistant

• Spare Man

• Process House Greaser

What You Need to Know

As our operations run continuously (24/7), all seasonal positions will involve shift work. Before submitting your application, please ensure you are available to work flexible hours on a rostered, rotational basis to meet the operational demands.

Due to operational requirements and potential call-outs, applicants must be able to attend the South Johnstone Mill site within 60 minutes when required.
