Looking to take on a new challenge with one of the most innovative companies in Australia that is taking the events industry by storm?!

We are seeking hungry, self motivated and smart candidates to join a rapidly growing team as a Sponsorship Sales Manager.

Working with a growing Sponsorship Sales team who are regularly exceeding their KPI's and targets to earn amazing commissions. It is not your usual sales role, you will be contacting C-Level executives and senior decision makers across a wide range of industries from both warm and cold leads.

Tasks include:

- Attend sponsorship briefings with the conference producer for your sector.

- Create value propositions in line with the sponsorship briefing for each event.

- Continuously identify, research & generate leads and prospects for the market.

- Qualify sponsorship leads in order to secure sponsorship revenue for conference and events within your sector.

- Produce and distribute proposals to qualified prospects to secure sponsorship revenue for educational and enforcement compliance-based sponsorship.

- Provide market, event and prospects feedback to the Director of Sponsorship.

- Promptly raise issues or challenges faced for sponsorship on an assigned event, relationship or area.

- Sell the sponsorship opportunities and packages at the company's events in order to achieve KPIs and targets set and agreed.

- Negotiating contract terms, signing confirmed deals and chasing payments.

- Maintain accurate records of sales figures and paid accounts.

- Effective relationship and account management of the L&C sponsorship clients in order to increase the opportunity of repeat business.

- Work independently.

- Take responsibility for continuous development proactively recording and reviewing calls to address challenges or barriers.

Essentials :

- Relevant Bachelors degree or 5 years relevant work experience.

- You will be required to converse with decision makers at a senior level. You will be required to make genuine business, technical and industry connections.

- Strong commercial and/or sponsorship sales experience, minimum of 1 year, with a heavy focus on short-cycle new business development.

- Solid research and prospect generation experience.

- A customer focused approach and a strong communicator, able to build and communicate a clear value proposition.

- Motivated by goals and targets, with a focus on company and team values.
