In this role, you will be focused on providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our valued customers by assisting them with their agricultural input requirements, both in-branch and on-farm.

Task & responsibilities

  • Contributing to the business by building strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities and developing new business.
  • Monitor competitors, analyse market trends and keep well-informed on new and existing products and services.
  • Present, promote and offer products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Plan and execute sales strategies.
  • Processing counter sales and orders.
  • Preparing and delivering products on-farm.
  • Developing and regularly updating product knowledge.
  • Maintaining safety and compliance processes.
  • Participation in regular stocktaking to assist in stock control and procurement.
  • Maintain accurate client records and contribute to Branch reporting and forecasting 

Qualification & experience

  • Tertiary Qualification in Agriculture is preferable
  • At least 5 years’ experience with the broadacre farming industry highly desirable with proven sales history and experience in the provision of relevant advice and product recommendations to customers
  • Skilled and experience in Sales
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Expert knowledge of broadacre and agricultural industry.
  • Customer Knowledge of safety practices and working with farm products.
  • Expert knowledge of broadacre and agricultural industry
  • Technical Sales experience Knowledge of safety practices and working with farm products
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and CRM systems.
  • Current Australian drivers licence
