The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the company’s sales and commercial operations through data analysis, market research, reporting, and strategic insights. Working closely with management, sales teams, clients, and international partners, the role will focus on identifying business opportunities, improving sales performance, and supporting the efficient delivery of freight forwarding and logistics services.

Task & responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Gathering, compiling, and analysing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators, including sales growth, conversion rates, and revenue performance
- Assisting with the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and pricing analysis, including sourcing and quoting rates
- Conducting market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and market conditions
- Analysing competitor strategies and market positioning to support business development initiatives
- Preparing monthly sales and performance reports for management and liaising closely with sales teams
- Providing recommendations and insights to improve sales performance and business strategies
- Identifying inefficiencies within sales processes and recommending improvements to optimise operational performance
Qualification & experience
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry will be highly regarded.
