We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our passionate, committed and tenacious team to oversee our premium Holden Hill Store operations and contribute to all aspects of Dynamo Fitness Equipment’s exciting and unique commercial and home fitness equipment retail venture.
The ideal candidates will have an understanding and a depth of experience within retail management operations allowing them to drive sales performance as well as ensure standards are met across all business operations of the store, from the customer experience, staff development, and maintenance of professional standards to supporting logistic processes and encouraging innovation throughout all business functions. This position will be instrumental in the recruitment, selection, and development of the store with assistance from the SA State Manager.

Key Accountabilities:
Manage and be accountable for retail store upkeep, oversee inventory levels and product flow as well as organise and execute processes that maintain store assets and store functions.
Develop retail store strategies to raise store traffic, expand customer reach and optimise profitability.
Maintain a high-level customer service culture validated through customer reviews and service results.
Lead and support your team to meet monthly site objectives and sales quotas.
Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the Warehouse Manager in St Marys to ensure warehouse stock is sufficient for the store requirements and recorded levels are accurate.
Oversee all Store financial and operational objectives including expense control, loss prevention, audits/checklists/recurring tasks, monthly reports and effective execution of promotions.
Maintain optimal staffing and scheduling that meets store operational requirements, whilst being responsive to traffic and business changes as well as achieving labour % goals.
Confidently manage customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Supervise, coach and train site workforce as well as ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Ensure all correspondence and tickets are responded to and actioned according to Service Level Agreements.
Organise actions and provide task allocation as well as maintain efficient and high-level team communication.
Initiate and process branch transfers and ensure procedure compliance.
Continuously review site operations as well as business development models and initiate business improvement actions in liaison with the SA State Manager.
Confidently provide and follow up quotes, initiate business opportunities and close sales.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Retail Manager or 4 years retail experience.
Excellent sales skills.
Sound knowledge of distribution and small warehouse management.
Demonstrated ability to lead, take ownership, initiative and responsibility for assigned duties as well as manage staff.
Proficient ability to use inventory and POS software.
Demonstrated high level analytical, problem solving, time management and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Practice and teach high level Customer Service / Sales systems.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Health and Fitness Equipment Products and Health and Fitness Industry.
Experience retailing and engagement in warehousing operations for bulk/heavy goods.
Forklift Certificate
