Liquor Barons Lesmurdie is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy liquor retail store in Lesmurdie, Western Australia. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead a customer-focused team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Task & responsibilities
- Oversee all daily store operations and ensure efficient business performance
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of retail staff
- Recruit, train and onboard new employees as required
- Prepare and manage weekly staff rosters and leave schedules
- Monitor staff performance and maintain a positive workplace culture
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries professionally
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, stock rotation and supplier relationships
- Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Coordinate promotional displays, seasonal campaigns and in-store merchandising
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing legislation, workplace health and safety requirements and company policies
- Monitor cash handling procedures, POS operations and store security
- Prepare operational reports and assist ownership with business planning and performance reviews
Qualification & experience
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification in Business or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant retail management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of liquor retail operations and compliance requirements will be highly regarded
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in liquor retail, hospitality, supermarkets, or convenience retail
- Knowledge of Western Australian liquor licensing requirements
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and Approved Manager card, or willingness to obtain them
- Experience in sales analysis, merchandising, and promotional planning
